There has always been a strong culture in the school of facilitating, encouraging, and celebrating those who participate in extracurricular activities. These opportunities play a vital role in personal development, fostering teamwork, confidence, and a sense of belonging among students. In recent years, pupils have proudly represented Scoil Mhuire in a wide range of sports, including hurling, camogie, football, soccer, rugby, basketball, badminton, golf, athletics, swimming, tennis, orienteering, and equestrian events. Beyond sports, students engage in a variety of non-sporting activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. These include quiz teams, debating, the school musical, choir, traditional music groups, public speaking, chess, and many more.
